Legs Protocol

The legs are one of the most challenging areas for body treatments due to their complex anatomy and the variety of common concerns: cellulite, fluid retention, sagging and fat accumulation in specific areas such as the inner thigh.

Ocarine® Dual features a comprehensive and segmented legs protocol, adapting treatment to each anatomical area. Its thermodynamic technology penetrates in a controlled way, targeting deep fat while supporting lymphatic function, fundamental for drainage and toxin elimination in the lower extremities.

This 20-40 minute protocol adresses everything from cellulite problems to muscle toning, making it an essential tool for professionals seeking complete results in lower body treatments.

Real results of this Legs protocol

The Legs protocol step by step

Equipment setup

  • Select the “Legs” option
  • Calculate time according to the extent of the area (20-40 min)
  • Start at medium intensity (level 2-3)

Patient preparation

  • Position the client in a lateral decubitus position
  • Divide legs into 10×10 cm working quadrants
  • Apply the conductive cream according to the goal

Treatment execution

  • Activate with the play button
  • Treat both legs by sectors
  • Adjust intensity progressively according to tolerance

Application technique

Working methodology

  • Elliptical or figure-of-8 movements
  • Slow and continuous rhythm
  • 10 minutes per quadrant
  • Alternating between legs to optimise session time

Target anatomical areas

  • Inner thigh (area of greatest sagging)
  • Outer thigh (cellulite accumulation)
  • Posterior thigh (hamstrings and lower glute)
  • Knee and calf (fluid retention)

Ocarine® Deep System:
Perfect synergy for legs

Leg treatments are significantly enhanced with the Ocarine® Dual conductive cream system. These formulas are designed to work in synergy with Ocarine® Dual’s thermodynamic technology, optimizing energy penetration and maximizing treatment results.

LipoDeep
Body Cream A

Recommended for legs with cellulite and fluid retention.

Its Fucus Vesiculosus extract activates peripheral microcirculation, fundamental in the lower extremities where venous return may be affected.

Stimulates the natural lymphatic drainage of the legs.

Especially recommended for the outer and inner thigh, working at intensity 3-4.

It is very important to complement with manual lymphatic drainage post-treatment to optimise toxin elimination.

FirmDeep
Body Cream B

Ideal for legs with sagging or loss of muscle tone.

Echinacea Angustifolia strengthens the skin structure, being especially effective on the inner thigh where elasticity is often reduced.

FAQs

The legs present unique anatomical complexity:

  • Varied types of adipose tissue by area.
  • Lymphatic circulation working against the gravity
  • Multiple simultaneous aesthetic (cellulite, fluid retention, sagging and localised fat).

Ocarine® Dual’s segmented protocol targets each area with specific parameters.

Assess systematically:

  • Inner thigh (pinch to assess sagging).
  • Outer thigh (pressure test for cellulite).
  • Posterior area (palpate fibrotic nodules),
  • Knee/calf (fovea test for edema).

Most clients require combined approach, alternating areas per session.

The lateral decubitus position is the most appropriate, as it allows complete access to both surfaces.

  • For inner thigh: upper leg flexed.
  • For outer thigh: leg extended.
  • Posterior thigh: prone position.
  • Knee and calf: supine position with leg elevated 30° to promote drainage.

The lower extremities suffer natural lymphatic stasis due to gravity (owing to the natural vertical position of the body). Without drainage, mobilized toxins can re-accumulate in ankles and knees.

For this reason, it is MANDATORY to complement the protocol with immediate upward manual lymphatic drainage and pressotherapy within the following 48 hours.

  • Grade I-II varicose veins: Work around them, never over them, at reduced intensity (maximum 2).
  • Grade III-IV varicose veins: absolute contraindication.
  • Mild venous insufficiency: Shorten session to 20 minutes and prioritize drainage.

Always request written medical authorisation.

  • Visible cellulite reduction from the 2nd session (especially outer thigh).
  • Thigh circumference reduction of 2–4 cm per completed protocol.
  • Noticeable improvement in fluid retention within 48–72 hours post-session.
  • Immediate “light legs” effect highly valued by clients.

Since a slight edema is normal in the legs during the first 24-48 hours, the mandatory protocol includes:

  • Light compression stockings (15-20 mmHg) for 3 days.
  • Elevate the legs for 15 minutes every evening.
  • Manual lymphatic drainage at 24 and 72 hours.
  • Minimum hydration of 3 litres/day.
  • If edema persists after 72 hours: suspend treatment and evaluate kidney function.
